Sohila Mahmoud Kamal is a seasoned tax professional with over sixteen (16) years of extensive cognate experience in various aspects of taxation and finance, including nine (9) years specializing in international tax and transfer pricing. She has extensive background in multinational audits, policy development, tax planning, and general professional training. She currently serves as a Transfer Pricing Director at BDO Khaled & Co. in Egypt. She was most recently a Transfer Pricing Director at Andersen in Egypt. Prior to that, she served as a Transfer Pricing Team Leader at the Egyptian Tax Authority.
Sohila holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Economics and Foreign Trade from the Helwan University in Egypt (2004). She also holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Accounting from the Ain Shams University in Egypt (2015). She further holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Economics (specializing in Aggressive Tax Planning) from Cairo University in Egypt (2022). She is currently a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree Candidate in Economics at Ain Shams University in Egypt. She holds Diplomas in Tax Policy, Foreign Trade Economics, Global Economy & International Relations, and Stock Market Analysis.
Sohila is a Trainer of Trainers certified by both the Egyptian Tax Authority and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). She holds memberships of both the Egyptian Society of Taxation and the Egyptian Society for Political Economy, Statistics, and Legislation. She is also a Fellow of the Scientific Society for Tax Legislation.
