Abraham Owobi Ochayi is a seasoned chartered accountant and a tax professional with over seven (7) years of extensive cognate experience in taxation, financial reporting, and policy research practice. He currently serves as a Senior Associate (Tax Audit & Transfer Pricing) at Nexia Nigeria, where he has led numerous tax audit assignments, transfer pricing analyses, and regulatory compliance engagements for various domestic and international clients. In addition to his professional practice, Abraham is a passionate educator. He teaches taxation at Point-On Academy in Abuja, Nigeria, a recognized Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) Lecture Centre, where he lectures and mentors aspiring chartered accountants preparing for their professional certification exams. His approach to teaching combines practical case studies, updated tax policy knowledge, and a commitment to building capacity in the accounting profession. Abraham holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Accounting from the Benue State University in Nigeria, and a Diploma in Electronic Accounting (Sage 50) from the Information Center of the Ministry of Information & Culture, Benue State, Nigeria. He is currently pursuing a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Data Science at the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology in Nigeria, with a focus on leveraging artificial intelligence to solve challenges in finance, taxation, and business decision-making. He is an ICAN-certified Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) and a member of several professional bodies, including the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN), the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA), the National Institute of Credit Administration (NICA), and the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM).
